Aging and Disability Resource Centers
Aging and Disability Resource Centers are programs that create a single, coordinated system of information and access for older adults and people with disabilities who are seeking resources to minimize confusion, enhance individual choice, and support informed decision-making. They provide a wide range of services to include counseling, information & referral, benefits screening, telephone reassurance, residential placement, and more. Maryland Access Point provides these services.
Maryland Access Point (MAP) offices serve as a single point of entry for seniors and adults (18+) with disabilities, providing information on a wide variety of services. Trained staff can assess needs and provide resources and referrals to appropriate agencies. Call a local MAP site near you to find what resources you or your loved one can connect with.
