Some platforms don&#8217;t do this automatically.<\/p>\n<h3>What is it?<\/h3>\n<p>You earned it! Eligible taxpayers who work and have low to moderate income may qualify for up to $4,000 to reduce their taxes or increase their refund.&nbsp;The tax credit depends on income and family size.<\/p>\n<h3>Who qualifies?<\/h3>\n<p>Many people miss out on it because they didn&#8217;t know to ask about it. While everyone who qualifies for the federal EITC also qualifies for the state credit, there&#8217;s a group of people who qualify for the state credit but may not qualify federally.
