Short and Long-Term Housing at MCVET

Case managers are provided with some of the programs, and MCVET also has a reentry program for Veterans who were incarcerated.
Counseling and recovery classes are also available, and the case manager works with the Veteran to obtain VA benefits.

Drop In
Homeless Veterans can drop in for the day to connect with other Veterans and access home amenities, such as showers, clothing, water, vending machines, and crisis intervention counseling.

For immediate housing, homeless Veterans can go to the emergency shelter. They'll be assigned a case manager to address needs and barriers to receiving support.
Transitional Housing
During the transitional housing phase of the MCVET program, residents continue to work with a case manager, begin training programs, and look for a job.
This program lasts about 18-24 months.
Single Room Occupancy (SRO)
This provides Veterans long-term housing in an independent living space. At this point, case management is not required, and an income-based housing agreement is arranged.
