Housing Help

You can also check their resources page for information on housing locations throughout the county, senior housing, assisted living facilities, and shelters.

Utility Help

If you need help paying your utility bill, the Queen Anne’s County Department of Social Services can assist with state energy grants such as the Maryland Energy Assistance Program (MEAP) for heating cost, Electric Universal Service Program (EUSP) for electric bills and other grants through the Office of Home Energy Programs (OHEP).

211 has an energy assistance guide with detailed information on income guidelines and how to fill out the form correctly.

You can also contact Delmarva Power or Choptank Electric to set up a payment plan.
