Haven Ministries
Haven Ministries, a coalition of Christian churches in Queen Anne's County, offers housing assistance, food, clothing, and shelter to families in need.
Food
There is a resource center and food pantry in Queenstown behind Royal Farms. Queen Anne's residents can use the food pantry once a month, with a valid photo I.D. You can make an appointment by calling 410-827-7194.
There is also a mobile food pantry truck in Sudlersville, Maryland. The food truck offers non-cooked food for those with emergency food needs in northern Queen Anne's County.
Housing
Haven Ministries provides a temporary emergency shelter in the winter at Kent Island Methodist Church in Chester, Maryland.
They also have 3 long-term affordable homes
Resource Center & Benevolence Fund
The Benevolence Fund is run by churches, organizations, and individuals and offers financial help, clothing, and other forms of support.
Funding may also be available through St. Christopher's Catholic Church, Haven Ministries, and Kent Island United Methodist Church for rent and utilities payments.

Utility Help
If you need help paying your utility bill, the Queen Anne’s County Department of Social Services can assist with state energy grants such as the Maryland Energy Assistance Program (MEAP) for heating costs, Electric Universal Service Program (EUSP) for electric bills, and other grants through the Office of Home Energy Programs (OHEP).
