If you need financial help or food to get through an emergency situation, the Washington County Community Action Council (CAC) may be able to help. The organization offers crisis help for a court eviction, utility termination or urgent food need. They can also provide the first month’s rent and refer you to other community partners for crisis support.
CAC can also provide energy assistance, housing counseling, affordable housing, and transportation for the elderly, low-income individuals, and those with disabilities.
